Boca Raton, FL (WPTV) — An 81-year-old man was arrested on Friday after Boca Raton police said he pointed his gun at an 18-year-old driver in an apparent case of road rage.Investigators charged Irving Feingold with aggravated assault for pointing his .380 caliber handgun at Eric Fidelis.

“As soon as the gun came out, I just thought about all the stories I hear on the news about people getting shot on the road over stupid stuff,” said Fidelis.

Fidelis said after Feingold cut him off, the two exchanged words. But he said Feingold then followed him home. That is when Fidelis said Feingold pulled out his gun and began threatening him.

Well I know he could have shot me and I could have died. Even if he didn’t mean to, the trigger could have gone off by accident and I could have got shot,” said Fidelis.

Feingold has been released from jail. In a phone interview he said he was in fear for his life and that there was much more to the story.

Fidelis said he did nothing wrong. As a pizza delivery driver, he is on the road all of the time.

“I’m kind of scared because you know I’m on the road every day, I’m a delivery driver. So I’m driving everywhere. So I know next time, just keep driving,” said Fidelis.

But the future — especially as defined by the commercial real estate and banking
