Louisiana Woman Accused of Stabbing Boyfriend with Kitchen Knife

PIERRE PART, La. (WVLA) — A Pierre Part woman is in jail after her boyfriend told police she stabbed him in the chest with a small kitchen knife.

According to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, a call was made around 6:42 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, about a stabbing.

Deputies contacted the 61-year-old man who told them his girlfriend, Tammy Daley, 45, stabbed him with a small kitchen knife after a fight earlier that morning.

Acadian ambulance took the victim to the hospital, where medical professionals determined that he had a punctured lung.

Tammy Daley was booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center on June 3, 2014 for Aggravated Second Degree Battery Domestic Abuse Battery. Her bond was set at $30,000.

Daley is also on hold for probation and parole for an Aggravated Second Degree Battery conviction in West Baton Rouge Parish.
