BELLE ROSE, La. (WVLA) — The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a Morgan City man accused of terrorizing his former employer.

According to a police report, Joseph Robertson, 48, showed up at Shelby Gaudet Contractors in Belle Rose around 6:45 on Friday morning. Robertson had quit his job at the business a few days earlier.

Robertson asked to speak to a supervisor, and told him “I got something for you. Come see.”

The supervisor walked out to the vehicle, and Robertson asked a female passenger to identify the supervisor.

Robertson once again said, “Hold on, I got something for you.” He then reached near the floorboard under the seat of his car.

At that point, the supervisor ran back into the business yelling, “I think he’s got a gun.”

Police have a warrant out on Robertson for one count of terrorizing.

This is an on-going investigation.
