Filming to Close Roads Monday and Tuesday in CBD

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A production crew will be filming Monday and Tuesday night at Roosevelt Alley in the CBD, causing some traffic delays in that area.

City officials said the intersections of Baronne and Canal Streets, Canal and University Streets, University and Common Streets, and Iberville and Dauphine Streets will be closed from 6:00 pm. – 6 a.m. Monday and Tuesday, weather permitting.

Canal Street will remain open to allow flow of traffic.

Law enforcement will also be on site to ensure public safety and to help facilitate the work.

In 2013, New Orleans hosted 60 tax credit film projects (TV, films, and commercials with budgets over $300,000), with direct spending of $456 million.
