Police: Man Wanted for Shooting at Three Teens in Central City

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Police in New Orleans are looking a man accused of attempted murder after he shot at three teens Monday, fatally killing one and striking another.

According to police Gregory Johnson, 52, ran after three teens at the corner of Josephine Street and Brainard Street around 7:30 p.m.

No word on why he chased the teens or his relation to them.

A 14-year-old was rushed to the hospital in critically condition. He died overnight.

A 15-year-old boy was listed in stable condition with a gunshot wound in his leg, and a third teen was not hit, authorities said.
