Cha Wa performs “Injuns, Here They Come” on the Twist Stage.

They are playing at Shorty Fest, Thursday, May 1st, 8pm.

The Trombone Shorty Foundation will deliver the second-annual Shorty Fest concert on May 1 in New Orleans, La., during the second weekend of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2014. This music-filled event highlights emerging young talent, including a performance by students participating in the Trombone Shorty Academy music performance program, and is headlined by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.

Shorty Fest benefits the Trombone Shorty Foundation’s programs in partnership with Tulane University to educate young musicians and help launch careers in music.

The show features three stages of performances by emerging young musicians.
