Monday’s Wheel of Justice report begins with the murder of a woman that same afternoon in Central City.   She was gunned down in the 300 block of Josephine and died at an area hospital.

Saturday night, four people were shot in the Seventh Ward.  One man died.  According to witnesses, the man was shielding a one-year-old baby who was grazed by a bullet.  The child and the two other people who got hurt are recovering from their injuries.

And Monday’s report also included a security camera photo of a robber who targeted a convenience store in the 4000 block of Louisa.  In this case, the attacker also opened fire.  But unlike the previous investigations reported, the bullets hit some protective glass designed to shield the store’s workers.  According to police, the clerk at the store eventually opened the business’s register and gave the robber an undetermined amount of cash.
