ST. TAMMANY PARISH (WGNO) –  Detectives in St. Tammany Parish are asking the public to help identify a person caught on video stealing plants from the front of a Slidell-area subdivision.

Representatives from the Homeowner’s Association of the Moorings in Oak Harbor Subdivision told police landscaping from around the subdivision’s entrance sign had gone missing recently.

In the above surveillance video, you can see what appears to be a man in a black pickup truck removing several plants and placing them into the bed of his truck.

It is believed the same individual also stole plants from another nearby subdivision entrance.

Anyone with information concerning this crime is asked to call Sgt. Brian Beech at 985-726-7850.
