Voodoo falls in opener at Tampa

New Orleans VooDoo v New York DragonsPat O’Hara said he planned to use two quarterbacks, just not the way it happened in the season opener at Tampa Bay.

Kurt Rocco exited with a shoulder injury in the third quarter of a 62-57 loss to the Tampa Bay storm. He was replaced by former LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux, who had yet to take a snap in a game or practice in an indoor arena.

Wide receiver LJ Castille had 4 touchdown receptions. Castile had 10 receptions for 169 yards.

New Orleans has a bye this week. The Voodoo opens the home portion of the season Saturday March 29th at the Smoothie King Center against Cleveland.
