NBA All Stars Caravan makes a special visit

NBA players gave kids a taste of the NBA at Ochsner Medical Center.

Kids and parents got the chance to hive-five players and coaches from NBA teams.

It’s all part of NBA Cares Caravan which is making a little over 35 stops around New Orleans this week.

“These are some kids in great need.  Put a smile on their face, sign autographs, play video games with them.  That’s what it’s all about.”  NBA legend, Avery Johnson said.

“We want to be a part of the recovery process and the NBA Cares Program. That’s what is all about,”  Johnson said.
