Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice report included a scam investigation in Hattiesburg, Ms, that could be connected to a similar crime in Covington.

The case involves a man who called a convenience store, claiming to be a manager, and requesting that money from the register be ready for an assistant to pick up.

In both the Hattiesburg and Covington cases, police say a man made the calls to the stores and a woman picked up the money.

Also, as you surely guessed, the people involved did not work for the stores.

If you can help solve the cases, call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.

Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice report also include the search for whoever vandalized as many as ten spots in Houma.  Police say some of the spots are historic buildings which could increase the severity of the charges.
