World War Two Museum Gets Warhawk For New Exhibit

Monday, a crowd of onlookers watched at the World War Two Museum took delivery of a classic fighter, a P-40 Warhawk.

A crane lifted the plane into the upper floor of the museum’s new Campaigns of Courage exhibit.

By the end of the war, the P-40 was the third-most produced plane in the U.S..  Today, a little over 30 remain.

The new exhibit is expected to be open to the public early next year.
