New Orleans police say one of the department’s officers was suspended and accused of malfeasance following a dust-up with another woman.

According to police, the officer had a beef with the other woman over a man.

Police say 16-year veteran of the force Carolyn Dalton used her mobile computer to look up personal information about the other woman and to begin following her.  They also say Dalton threatened “to get” the rival.

Dalton is suspended without pay while the case is investigated.
