The Saints are the best home team in the NFL, but can they win on the road, in the postseason?

That question will be answered Saturday  night in Philadelphia. The 6th seeded Saints play the Eagles in an NFC wildcard game. The Saints won their way into the playoffs  with a 42-17 victory over Tampa Bay Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Drew Brees threw 4 touchdown passes and ran for another as New Orleans finished 8-0 at home.

The Saints were 3-5 this season on the road.

“We were talking about this in the lockeroom with the guys. I think there are three main things we need to do,” said Brees. “Change up the Gatorade flavor, and feel good about that. We are going to change our travel sweats, and at the hotel change up the beefy mac recipe the night before. Just give it the extra kick. We feel like those three things will pull it through.”

Brees threw 39 touchdown passes this season, 27 at home.

If the Saints win, they play at Seattle Saturday January 11th.
