Two Fires Top Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice Report

Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice report began with the search for whoever killed a man in Gentilly and set his home on fire.  At about 8:30 in the morning, fire fighters arrived at a house fire in the 3300 block of Belfort.  Once the flames were out, they found the body of a man inside.  Police say he was stabbed to death.

Also in Wednesday’s report, New Orleans police released photos of a man who is accused of setting fire to PJ’s Bar in Gentilly.  According to police, the photos also show the man with the accelerant in his hands.  The fire happened at about 3:30 Monday morning.  It went to two alarms.  The building is a total loss.  According to police, the man who set the fire drove away in a silver Chevy Tahoe.

Finally, Wednesday’s report included surveillance video of a man who police say is responsible for an attack in the 900 block of St. Ann Street.  According to police, the victim was beaten and had his wallet and cell phone stolen.
