Pelicans bounce back, rout Memphis

Games on back to back nights gave the Pelicans a chance to bounce back quickly.

New Orleans won at Memphis, 99-84 Wednesday night, one night after losing at home to Phoenix.

Anthony Davis led the Pelicans with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. The Pelicans led 33-18 after one quarter. But, this time there was no third quarter collapse. New Orleans outscored Memphis 28-16 in the third.

Eric Gordon led New Orleans with 19 points. Mike Conley of the Grizzlies led all scorers with 26 points.

New Orleans led by as many as 29 points in the fourth quarter. The Pelicans won despite making only 4 of 13 three pointers.

The Pelicans host the Lakers Friday night.
