Earlier this week, WGNO News reported on UNO’s plan to close the university’s child care center.  The move is scheduled for December.

Friday morning, an advocacy group presented a plan to school administrators to finance the center through June.

The plan would require contributions from families that use the child care center.

The university says the center loses about $200,000 a year.
