NOPD asks for help to identify woman’s body

photo(from the New Orleans Police Department) – Members of the New Orleans Police Department Homicide Unit are investigating the death of an unidentified woman that was found in a grassy area of a lot at approximately 8:39am, Thursday morning at Florida Avenue and Choctaw Street.

The woman is described as a Caucasian female wearing a light colored tank top shirt, blue jeans and had her toe nails colored silver.

Homicide Detective Michael McCleery is in charge of the investigation and can be contacted at 658-5300.
