Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice report kicked off with video of a robbery at the Shell station at 1100 Franklin Avenue.  The crime happened at about 9:00pm on August 25.  The video shows the robber barge into the store’s office despite the efforts of a worker to keep him out.  Police say the robber told her, “I don’t want to have to kill you over this.”  The man left the scene with four cartons of cigarettes but no money.

Wednesday’s report also included frightening video of a stick-up at the Magnolia Discount store on South Carrollton.  The video shows three men wearing masks.  At least one of them points a gun at the clerk as they clear out the cash register.  Workers at the store say the robbers may be responsible for similar a previous heist at the store.

New Orleans police also released two pieces of security camera footage connected to a shooting last Sunday.  The victim is seen walking in one of the clips.  Both videos show a pair of young men on bicycles.  Police would like to speak with them about the shooting.  Cops are calling the bicyclists persons of interest, not suspects.

Finally, Wednesday’s report included a theft at a CVS store in Mandeville.  Police there say a man and woman stole four 13″ television sets worth a total of $600.  Police released video of the getaway car, a dark green Mercury Mariner with a Louisiana license plate WWJ-026.
