Even though the LSU Tigers remain undefeated at 4-and-0, they didn’t move in the latest AP poll, which still ranks them at #6. The Tigers beat the Auburn Tigers Saturday night on a wet water soaked field 35-21.

Jeremy Hill led the offense with 191 yards on 25 carries for three touchdowns. Zach Mettenberger was 14 of 22, 229 yards, and one touchdown and threw his first interception of the season. Jarvis Landry had seven catches for 118 yards and one touchdown.

After the game, Coach Les Miles was all about the jokes, while his quarterback was not:

“It never rains in Tiger Stadium,” ┬áMiles told reporters, “but it was very close to rain if not a very stiff dew that was out there. Again, we had some flexibility in our offense that allowed us to do the things that we needed to do.”

“We need to learn how to finish out games,” Mettenberger said. “We need to execute all four quarters. When we mature and learn to do that we’re gonna be a really good offense.”
