Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice report started off with a shooting on Prentiss Avenue.

It happened at about 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.  According to the NOPD, a man was shot twice and his injuries were not considered life threatening.  Perhaps the biggest shocker at the scene came when police led three young children from the house where the shooting happened.

The mother of the victim, who is also the grandmother of the kids, rushed to the scene.  She was a little relieved to hear her son’s injuries were not life threatening.  But she was angry about what happened.

“My child, he’s got these babies in that house.  Who came here to shoot my son?  You know, that’s the question.  Who did it?” the woman told WGNO News.

Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice report also included a photo of a white car that could be connected to a murder on North Derbigny.  Last Tuesday, at about 2:15 in the afternoon, police found Kerwin Borden shot to death in the 1800 block.  Security camera footage caught a shot of the car.  Police believe the driver may have information about the attack.

Wednesday’s report also included sketches of robbers in two, unrelated cases.  Both robbers are accused of using a gun to steal money from their victim.  One attack happened in Japonica Street.  The other happened on France.
