Louisiana teachers get high marks in evaluation

Looks like Louisiana public schools have pretty good teachers! Nine out of 10 teachers are rated ‘effective’ or ‘highly effective’ in the first teacher evaluation in state history.

Who’s got the best teachers overall? Saint Charles Parish came out on top with 40% of its teachers considered highly effective, eight percentage points higher than the state average.
