Three Tulane Students Robbed During First Week of School

New Orleans Police are teaming up with Tulane Campus Police to step up patrols in and around the University.

So far three students have been robbed since the school year began which was on Monday.

The latest incident was an armed carjacking just before 9pm Saturday on the 7700 block of Jeanette Street. Campus reports show two men took off with the student’s gray 2007 Honda Civic Coupe. The car has Louisiana license plate RHU031.

On Friday night around 11:20pm a Tulane Medical Student was carjacked on the 8000 block of Spruce Street. The suspects took off with a white Mazda 3. This car has Texas license plate DD3M599.

The first incident involving a Tulane student happened Wednesday. A 20-year-old Junior was robbed on her way home near Freret and State Street just after 1am by a man wearing a mask.
