The City of Harahan is considering to find fair and impartial guidance before taking action on the largest undeveloped green space in Jefferson Parish.

The future of former Colonial Golf and Country Club, now known as Harahan Green Space is uncertain.

15 acres of overgrown fairways and putting greens is sectioned off for commercial development.

The city council met Thursday in a special meeting to find a fair and unbiased candidate, impartial to Harahan, who can guide zoning and real estate deals for the 88 acres of green space.

In the end, city council agreed to continue discussing potential candidates.

The planning and zoning board is set to make their recommendation September 4th.
