JP Deputies Say Double Murder Suspect, Irvin Harris, Caught

Jefferson Parish detectives say they’ve caught the man who was on the run wanted for two murders that happened on Tuesday night in Harvey.

20-year-old Irvin Harris of Harvey has been booked with two counts of First Degree Murder.

Investigators say the two victims were found inside an SUV on Jeanette Drive. They say soon after the murders Jeremy Coleman was dropped-off at West Jefferson Hospital with a gunshot wound. They say his story didn’t add up, and he was eventually booked with two-counts of Second Degree Murder.

The second suspect, Irvin Harris, escaped the hospital while being questioned by detectives. According to reports, they eventually found him on Chippewa Street in New Orleans, at a friends home.
