Crimestoppers and the family of Donovan Bailey hope an increased reward will help solve the man’s murder.

In April, Bailey was shot several times while driving on Wast 13th Street in Reserve.

Thursday morning, Crimestoppers announced the reward in the case had been increased to $10,000.

“This is going to go up on a billboard,” said Crimestoppers’ Darlene Cusanza.  “People are going to remember this case.  Ten thousand dollars is a lot of money.  They’re going to make that call.”

Anyone who can help detectives solve the case can collect the reward by calling 504-822-1111.
