Saints cornerback Jabari Greer knows about pick-sixes.  Turns out, he knows how to pick songs as well.

Monday afternoon, Greer was a guest host of the Jazz from the French Market program on WWOZ radio.

Greer used his own music library and played some of his favorite jazz selections.  He also planned to throw in some R&B and admitted he was a little nervous about the gig.

“The pre-game jitters are gone.  Now I’m just ready to tackle some songs,” Greer joked during a break in the program.  “And these are things I actually listen to before games or to workout or at home.  So if you ask my children, they’ve heard all these songs.”

Greer also talked about how much music is a part of his life and the lives of his family members.

Monday’s Jazz from the French Market was hosted by WWOZ DJ Sondra Bibb.  It is just one of an eclectic list of programs aired and streamed by the listener supported radio station.
