Hornets return to Charlotte

When the New Orleans Hornets changed their name to the Pelicans, it looked like Hugo the Hornet was out of a job, but no! The hornets have returned!

The NBA has approved a name change for the Charlotte Bobcats to become the Hornets – which was the name of the Charlotte team before they came to New Orleans in 2002. So it looks like Hugo will be moving back to his hometown, according to the Chicago Tribune!

By the way, if you were wondering where the hornets name came from in the first place it actually dates back to the revolutionary war: a British general compared the revolutionary resistance in Charlotte to a hornets nest.
