The victim is in stable condition in the hospital.
Peterson is wanted for attempted second degree murder.

Also tonight…
New Orleans Police are searching for Theron Boyd.
They say he’s gone from a “person of interest” to a “suspect” in an attack that happened Sunday night in the Marigny.
Police say the two-victims were walking on Bourbon Street, near Esplanade, when they were attacked by two other men.
Police say one of the attackers yelled anti-gay slurs.
One suspect, 17 year old D’john Joseph turned himself in yesterday, but Boyd is still on the loose..

And… detectives are searching for a man who robbed a Capital One Bank in New Orleans East.
It happened just after noon at the bank in the 5600 block of Bullard Avenue.
The robber approached a teller’s window.. implied that he had a weapon…gave the teller a note demanding money..  and got away with the cash.
He is described as about 6`0′ tall, 150 pounds with a thin build and short facial stubble or acne scars.
He also has top and bottom gold teeth.
Anyone who can help the police solve *any* of these crimes tonight should call Crimestoppers… at 822-1111.
