A double shooting outside of an abandoned apartment complex in Algiers kicked-off Monday’s Wheel of Justice report.  The attack happened at about 9:30 on June 29 in the 3300 block of Garden Oaks Drive. Two men were shot, both 20-years-old.  One died at the scene and the other, at last word, was in critical condition.

Also included in Monday’s report was surveillance video of a burglary suspect.  According to the NOPD, the man stole the cash box from a register inside of a business in the 800 block of Royal Street in the French Quarter.  In the video, police say the man can be seen putting the cash box inside of a black, plastic garbage bin and wheeling it away.  The burglary happened at about 4:00 in the morning on June 26.
