Bayou Boogaloo Bicycle Second Line!
Polish that bike frame, pump up those tires and be escorted to the Bayou Boogaloo Festival by the Bone Tone Brass Band and Pocket Aces Brass Band in style!  ANYONE CAN PARTICIPATE!

The 11-mile Bicycle Second Line hosted by Bike Easy loops from Bayou St. John through neighborhood streets, with a rest stop at The Backstreet Cultural Museum in Treme and at the CBD Rouses, and concludes back at the festival just in time for all the fun music and food!
Last year we had almost 500 riders and this year we anticipate it to be even bigger!  Join in on the fun, bring your friends & the whole family, and see some great new bikeway facilities on our neighborhood streets!

Bike Easy is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to making bicycling easier, safer and more fun in Greater New Orleans.  New Orleans currently ranks sixth in the U.S. for bicycle commuters. The city now has over 56 miles of bicycle routes and growing!  Such progress would not be possible without Bike Easy positive working relationships with the Department of Public Works and the City Council. Bike Easy hopes to one day transform New Orleans into the most bicycle friendly city in America.
Membership supports the Bike Easy’s goal to improve bicycle ridership and safety through education and advocacy. We advocate for the inclusion of bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure in road projects, ensuring the implementation of recommended policies and actions in the New Orleans Master Plan, and promoting bicycling as a fun and safe means of transportation and recreation across the area.  Plus, now as a Bike Easy Member you can get discounts at participating Bike Friendly Businesses all over town.  Learn more about the perks of joining Bike Easy on our Membership Page.
