NOPD Responds To A Pair Of Tupelo Street Attacks

New Orleans police are investigating two attacks that happened on the same street in the same afternoon.

At about 1:30 Monday afternoon, police found three men shot near the corner of Tupelo Street and Saint Claude Avenue.  A 28-year-old man died at the hospital.

The two other victims were shot either in the hand or leg.  Their injuries are not considered to be life threatening.

At about 4:00 the same afternoon, NOPD officers returned to Tupelo Street, this time in the 600 block, and found a man shot to death in an alleyway of an abandoned home.
