Tigers win 10th straight league game, beat Hogs

lsuLSU’s sterling 2013 season continues to get better.

Aaron Nola threw a complete game four hitter, and struck out 10 as the Tigers beat Arkansas 6-2 Friday night in Fayetteville.

Sean McMullen hit his first LSU home run in the 5th, a three run shot, to give Nola all the offense he would need.

Nola was strong in the 9th. He retired the Hogs in order on just five pitches. LSU head coach Paul Mainieri called Nola “a strike throwing machine.”

LSU moved to 33-2 with its 10th straight SEC win, and 15th straight win overall.

LSU and Arkansas play at 6 pm Saturday.
