Tulane blows 22 lead, collapses at Tulsa

The Wave squandered a 22 point first half lead and lost at Tulsa Saturday 78-66.

Tulane led 37-15 with 5:11 to play in the first half. But, in the second half, Tulsa outscored Tulane 55-23. The Green Wave made only 7 of 28  shot attempts in the second half.

“Quite frankly, we did nothing to stop them in the second half, and did nothing on offense that we did in the first half,” said Tulane coach Ed Conroy.

Tulane fell to 6-8 in Conference USA play, and 18-11 overall.

Ricky Tarrant and Josh Davis had 16 points each for the Green Wave.
