New Orleans police confirm someone stole some of their SWAT Team equipment including a Colt M-4 assault rifle, Glock .40 handgun, and other tactical gear.

Jefferson Parish deputies say the theft happened in Marrero.  They say the officer’s police cruiser was one of five cars burglarized on Super Bowl Sunday on Sandpiper Circle.

The NOPD says it has a rule against officers leaving their gear in cars.  The case is under investigation.
