Hornets end 11 game skid with win over Orlando

hornets logoFor the first time since December 3rd, the Hornets are in the win column.

Robin Lopez scored a season high 29 points, and Greivis Vasquez hit a runner in the lane with 1:22 to play as the Hornets beat Orlando 97-94.

Vasquez scored 27 points and handed out 8 assists as the Hornets won the first time since they defeated Milwaukee at New Orleans Arena December 3rd.

Lopez made 9 of 10 field goal attempts, and 11 of 12 free throw attempts.

Anthony Davis contributed a double double, 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The win was only the Hornets 6th all season, and 3rd on the road in 14 games.

Jameer Nelson led Orlando with 28 points. Ryan Anderson, playing his first game since being traded by Orlando to New Orleans this summer, scored 15 points.
