jpsologoThey are wanted for crashing a party by shooting up a house in Terrytown, but the problem for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is that detectives don’t know who or where they are.

Neighbors in the family-oriented street of East Butterfly Circle’s 400 block Monday said they were too spooked to go on camera for a TV interview, but said that Saturday night will be remembered for gun fire and lots of it when a group of six men walked into a house party and opened fire on a group of kids, hitting four before the rest of the party spilled out into the street, running for safety.

The shooting victims each suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to deputies.

Detectives suspect the six uninvited guests said to be behind the shooting sped away in a black Dodge Charger.

Cops thought they nabbed a suspect when they stopped a man on the Crescent City Connection, but they weren’t convinced he was involved, so they let him go.

Monday evening, blood stains could be seen in the carport of the home where the shooting took place.

The mother of the 21-year-old who hosted the gathering said her daughter thinks there was a beef between one of the party members and the shooter.

About 27 young people were inside the house during the attack.

Anyone with information on the crime is urged to call the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigations bureau or Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
