New Orleans police say they arrested a man in connection with a robbery and shooting at a Bourbon Street strip club.

Police say a 22-year-old man named Marin George of Beech Street in New Orleans is responsible for the attack that happened on November 12 at Little Darlings in the 400 block Bourbon Street.

Police say George fired several shots in the business’ office, hitting the manager once in the leg.  They he then took the business’ cash.

Little Darlings manager Jason Smith told WGNO News in November that the attack was unusual for  his club but a way of life in New Orleans.

When asked if he takes steps to protect himself, Smith replied, “Every day, all day.”

Police also say Georg was release on probation in February of this year on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge transferred from Texas.
