6-Year-Old Harvey Girl Missing

6 year old Ahlittia North from Harvey has been missing since Friday night/Saturday morning.

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office says around 9:11am today, it received a call from a mother reporting her child was missing from her apartment in Harvey.

Missing persons detectives are on-scene at 2920 Destrehan Avenue, Apt A in Harvey conducting interviews with the child’s mother, along with neighbors in the apartment complex.

The Sheriff’s Office says the only information it has at this time is that the child is 6-year-old Ahlittia North, who went to sleep in the company of her mother around 11:00pm yesterday.

It wasn’t until around 9:00am today that her mother awakened to find her child missing, which prompted her to call 911.

The front door of the apartment was open and there were no signs of forced entry.

Missing Persons detectives have determined several personal items belonging to Ahlittia North were also missing.

The JPSO says the missing girl was last seen wearing a grey tank top with pink pajama pants and has black hair in a shoulder length braided hairstyle.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this child, or who may have information in her disappearance is asked to contact the JPSO Missing Persons Bureau at 504-364-5300 or CRIMESTOPPERS at 504-822-1111.
