The “Bieber Fever” in New Orleans has it an all-time high. Justin Bieber is about to take the stage tonight at the New Orleans Arena, but before tonight’s show, our Kenny Lopez caught up with some “True Beliebers”.
She’s the envy of most young women. Elysandra Quinones spends her time traveling with Justin Bieber. Her job is to make the pop star shine and stage, and by the looks of it it’s working!
Ely dances for Justin Bieber with Luke Broadlick and a group of 10 other dancers.
“He’s super cool,” says Quinones, “We have a prayer every night before the show and then we do like a chant, a group chant.”
“He’s one of those talents so it’s cool to just be around it,” explains Broadlick, “We just kick it when we’re in another city, normal kid stuff, guy stuff, man stuff.”
While taking a break from the daily grind Justin’s dancers gave back by teaching a class on their day off at LA Motion in the Garden District. It’s become one of the hottest gyms frequented by stunt doubles and celebrities and now the hottest dancers.
Owner Nito Larioza says, “I’m a dancer and the one thing I do love is performing and dancing and I thought the best thing I could is have special guests here that are on tour like Justin, like Madonna teach classes here. Learn from the best people in the industry.”
Larioza says he working on getting Beyonce’s dancers at his gym while they are here preparing for the Super Bowl.
One mega-fan, Kristy McDaniel, and her family followed Justin Bieber to the shooting range, The Shooter’s Club outside of New Orleans in River Ridge and snapped this picture of him.
On Tuesday night, Justin Bieber will be performing at the New Orleans Arena. One fan, 17-year old, Jac Bedrossian already has tickets to the big show, but she wants to meet the superstar.
“I’ve been tweeting like crazy,” she said.
Bedrossian is tweeting with a purpose. This Justin Bieber super fan wants “The Biebs” to come to her school, New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, while he’s in New Orleans for his show. She’s been tweeting the singer almost 24/7 to get him to visit her school.
“We made a You Tube video, so he could watch. I know he’s big on Twitter, so I’ve been tweeting him the link in hopes that he will respond,” she said.
She got her classmates at NOCCA to help her make the You Tube video. What she wants most is to sit down and interview Bieber for her school show, “NOCCA Talks”.
“I would ask him, did you know that you would be this successful,” Bedrossian said.
To her, he’s a huge inspiration.
“He’s someone that is our age. He’s very talented and he’s living the dream.”
