‘I Love It’—the catchy song by Swedish Electro-pop duo, Icona Pop is being called one of this summer’s biggest hits.  The girls, Aino and Caroline from the group took Twist Reporter, Kenny Lopez backstage at the House of Blues to tell him what it is exactly that they love and what they just don’t care about.

Icona Pop’s news album…”This Is…Icona Pop” will be released on September 24th.

Gia Allemand seemed like she had it all: beauty, charisma, fame. After a stint on “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor Pad” the 29-year-old apparently did find love and moved to New Orleans to be near her boyfriend, Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson.

On several social media platforms Gia kept fans and friends informed. Now, those social media sites are blowing up.

ABC News has learned Allemand died today of an apparent suicide. Ryan Anderson found her unconscious in her home Monday and she was rushed to University Hospital. The family says, “Due to a critical loss of brain and organ function, life support was withdrawn.”

“That’s awful; my condolences to her family,” says a client of Gia’s, “She was full of energy and a beautiful woman and a motivating instructor, and she will be missed.”

“I wanted to come see that the other instructors were, I’m sure, having a tough time, so I wanted to just come in and show my support and see how everything was,” says another client.

While in New Orleans Allemand worked as a Pure Barre instructor. She was scheduled to teach classes today in Metairie.

Ryan Anderson says, “Gia was the most beautiful person I knew inside and out.” He goes on to say, “All I have left is to cherish those memories we made together.”

Gia’s last tweet was sent out Sunday, a day before her apparent suicide attempt. In it she quoted the bible writing, “Doing what is right and fair pleases the Lord more than an offering.”

Allemand’s family says the 29-year-old passed away with her mother, boyfriend, and life-long friends by her side.

Funeral arrangements are pending.

(CNN) — Former “Bachelor” contestant Gia Allemand died Wednesday, two days after an apparent suicide attempt, a statement released on behalf of her family said. She was 29.

Allemand was discovered unconscious Monday night by her boyfriend, NBA player Ryan Anderson, at her home in New Orleans, the statement said. She was rushed to University Hospital, where she remained unconscious and on life support.

The family said the model and reality TV personality was taken off life support Wednesday and she died “peacefully with her mother, boyfriend and other lifelong friends by her side.”

Allemand appeared on Season 14 of ABC’s reality dating competition “The Bachelor,” which aired in 2010, opposite commercial airline pilot Jake Pavelka. Although she didn’t get the final rose signifying that she was his choice, she went on to compete on the first two seasons of the spinoff show “Bachelor Pad.”

“Loved ones and fans will remember Gia Allemand as a caring woman who loved her family and was well-known for her compassion towards animals and mission to rescue homeless pets,” the family statement said.

A number of her friends from her “Bachelor” days took to social media in shock over the news of her death, and her name became a trending topic on Twitter.

Host Chris Harrison tweeted: “It’s with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our good friend Gia Allemand. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.”

Former “Bachelor” Pavelka said he was “devastated” over the news, calling her “a very dear friend.”

“We have lost (an) angel today. I miss you Gia,” he tweeted.

A new political dynasty could be joining the Kennedy, Clinton, and Bush families: the Duck Dynasty!

According a political blogger, some key Washington republicans are wooing Willie Robertson, one of the stars of the Duck Dynasty reality show.

They want Robertson to run for the seat given up by retiring republican Representative Rodney Alexander, who happens to represent Monroe, the town where the Duck Dynasty stars live and work.

Do you think a millionaire TV star would give up his fame to run for state office?

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi on Red Carpet for 64th Primetime Emmy Awards

Ellen DeGeneres and wife, actress Portia de Rossi walk the red carpet before attending the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, California.

(CNN) — Ellen DeGeneres was so nice as an Oscars host the first time, the Academy has asked her to do it twice.

“It’s official: I’m hosting the #Oscars!” DeGeneres tweeted Friday. “I’d like to thank @TheAcademy, my wife Portia and, oh dear, there goes the orchestra.”

We’ll get to hear more of her quips when she leads the Oscars ceremony next March.

The producers of last year’s show, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, are returning to oversee the upcoming production. The duo said in a statement that they’re “thrilled” to have DeGeneres join the team.

“As a longtime friend, we had always hoped to find a project for us to do together, and nothing could be more exciting than teaming up to do the Oscars,” Zadan and Meron said. “There are few stars today who have Ellen’s gift for comedy, with her great warmth and humanity. She is beloved everywhere and we expect that the audience at the Dolby Theatre, and in homes around the globe, will be as excited by this news as we are.”

DeGeneres previously hosted the 79th Oscars in 2007, and snagged an Emmy nod for her work. The daytime talk show host follows Seth MacFarlane, whose hosting of the 2013 Academy Awards was divisive.

As for what we can expect from her this time around, DeGeneres is trying to adjust expectations.

“I am so excited to be hosting the Oscars for the second time,” DeGeneres said in the Academy’s announcement. “You know what they say — the third time’s the charm.”

The Oscars will air live on ABC March 2, 2014.
