I began my assignment at WGNO in September 2008 on Good Morning New Orleans as the morning reporter and producing our 11AM newscast, but now I’m managing our website, WGNO.com.

Even though I really miss the fun we had on GMNO, now I get to share our south Louisiana culture with everyone in the world!

I’m originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, and I have lots of family around here, so New Orleans is like a second home to me.

In my spare time I enjoy watching a good movie, reading, and catching up with all his family and friends spread across the country and around the world . . . oh, and cheering on my alma mater, the Northwestern State University Demons.

When friends come to visit New Orleans, the first place I take them is … to Frenchmen Street, then a quick trip through the Quarter. Then we work our way Uptown, usually along Prytania (gotta stop at the Creole Creamery!).

I’m known around the newsroom for … playing practical jokes. Better not leave your computer signed on, cause I will change your wallpaper!

On weekends you’ll find me … probably cooking. I’m not very good at it, but I love to try!

My favorite part about being a journalist is … hands down, severe weather coverage. During hurricanes, tornadoes, and other severe weather is when we can help get life-or-death information out as quickly as possible to the people who need it most.

My favorite Saint is … it’s a toss up between Drew Brees, Lance Moore, Jeremy Shockey and Scott Fujita.
