Bobby Childs

Bobby Childs is a Creative Services producer for WGNO and WNOL in New Orleans.  He’s a born and raised Louisianan who always wanted to be behind a camera.  Luckily, he’s spent his entire career in the area.  After graduating Southeastern Louisiana University, he spent time at WUPL-TV in New Orleans and WVLA-TV & WGMB-TV in Baton Rouge learning his craft.  One of Bobby’s proudest professional moments was co-producing WGNO’s award-winning “God Bless Louisiana” campaign.

When not listening to music (his favorite band is the Rolling Stones) or watching a great film, he’s spending time with his beautiful fiance or playing guitar.  In recent months, Bobby began seeking out stories about New Orleans he wanted to tell.  WGNO has afforded him  the opportunity to share those stories in a creative way.  He always looking for an interesting, quirky story.  Email Bobby your ideas at bgchilds@wgno.com.  You can check out his work here at wgno.com.  When he finds time, he updates his blog at childscreative.wordpress.com.
