NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The NOPD is looking for a man they say has been terrorizing his ex-wife on South Rocheblave Street for several months.

Police were called to the 4200 block of S. Rocheblave in August, November, and December in relation to incidents involving Donald Johnson.

In the August incident, the NOPD believes Johnson struck his ex-wife in the face and kicked her in the head during a domestic dispute, according to a press release.

In November, Johnson stole his ex-wife’s silver 2010 Ford Taurus a day after leaving harassing messages on his ex’s phone.

On December 4, Johnson’s ex-wife called police after returning to her home and finding a window pane on her front door shattered and the door open. Her mattress and bed frame had been destroyed, some of her clothes had been “drenched in chemicals,” according to the NOPD, and two purses had been stolen.

In addition to the charges in New Orleans, Johnson is also wanted by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office for multiple counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated criminal damage to property and simple criminal damage to property in an incident that occurred there on December 4.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Donald Johnson is asked to contact Second District detectives at (504) 658-6020.
