(WGNO) – The current estimated Powerball jackpot has spiked to an estimated $403 million dollars or $243.8 million dollars in cash.

The jackpot hit the new money making mark Thursday after no winning numbers were selected in Wednesday’s drawing. The next drawing is scheduled for Saturday night and the jackpot could grow again.

The prize could become one of the largest jackpots in U.S. history if winning numbers are not reached Saturday. A record-setting $1.6 billion jackpot was reached in January.
