NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The Saints have lost five games by a combined 15 points, including a three point loss at Carolina last Thursday night. As the Saints prep for the Rams, safety Kenny Vaccaro said the Saints have to play like a desperate team. Quarterback Drew Brees agrees.

Asked if he thinks the Saints’ 4-6 record should be a lot better than it is, Brees had this to say:

Saints left tackle Terron Armstead returned to practice in a limited role Wednesday, according to the club's report it submitted to the NFL. Cornerback Delvin Breaux, who missed the Carolina game, was back working full at Wednesday's practice.

Kickoff at the Superdome Sunday is noon. The Saints are 7 point favorites.
