NOPD looking for candy bandits

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - The NOPD is looking for a pair of robbers who couldn’t resist the allure of sugary snacks.  The case is the latest to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

Two men were caught on tape smashing the glass front door of a Family Dollar store on Old Gentilly Road shortly after midnight on November 13.

The robbers stole candy and snacks and fled, according to the NOPD.  Days after the heist, the store's door remained patched.
