NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A New Orleans man was arrested Thursday for pretending to be a police officer and threatening minors online with arrest if they didn’t send nude pictures to him.

According to a news release from the FBI New Orleans, Tristion Grant, 18, of New Orleans, is accused of contacting female minors online and coercing them to send nude pictures of themselves to him. The FBI said he also used intimidation tactics and threatened to arrest the female victims if they did not comply with his mandates.

Grant was booked into the Orleans Parish Prison on charges of false impersonation of a police officer and computer aided solicitation of a minor.

FBI offices in Jacksonville, Florida, Los Angeles and New Orleans investigated the case.
