NOPD seeks road rage suspect

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The New Orleans Police Department is looking for a man who pulled a gun on another motorist yesterday afternoon.

The apparent road rage incident began around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on Franklin Avenue, when the unnamed victim honked his horn at the suspect, according to an NOPD press release.

The suspect, who was driving a black Nissan Titan, followed the victim to the stoplight at Franklin and I-610, where the two got into a verbal altercation.

The suspect then pointed a handgun at the victim before retreating to his truck and fleeing southbound down Franklin.

The victim snapped a picture of the truck as it sped away.
