NOPD looking for hit-and-run driver from September incident

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The NOPD is looking for the driver of a white truck involved in a hit-and-run accident in the Warehouse District on September 3.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m., when the driver of the white truck turned onto Julia Street from Magazine Street, striking a pedestrian crossing the street.

The truck did not stop, and witnesses called the police and provided a description of the truck.

Multiple surveillance videos captured the incident and the truck as it fled the scene, and the NOPD has uploaded the footage to YouTube.
